A Club Built on Community
Wellington Point Cricket Club has held its place as a premier club for juniors and seniors since 1895, with nearly 200 registered players, more than its fair share of premierships, and the cooling sea breeze of Moreton Bay at its back.
Over by Over Since 1895
First ball bowled
The club is founded, with early meetings held at the Wellington Point Hotel. Cricket takes root in the Redlands, and never leaves.
On the books
The club is formally registered as an incorporated association in Queensland, giving the Wildcats a proper legal footing to manage its affairs, hold assets and plan for the future.
A new home ground
WPCC relocates to Mooroondu Road, Thorneside, becoming affiliates of the Mooroondu Sports & Recreation Club, a move that gives the Wildcats access to first-class facilities beside the bay.
120 not out
The club celebrates 120 years of service to the community, a historic local institution that has developed talented players, including notable alumnus Clinton Perrin.
Still batting
Nearly 200 registered players across juniors, girls and seniors, with programs like Cricket Blast nurturing the next generation of Wildcats. The innings continues.

The Batting Order
Committee 2026/27. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM, all members welcome.
