Winter Cricket is Wello Wildcats' Winter 2026 cricket program, offering competitive cricket across both junior and senior formats when the summer season concludes. It is the perfect way to stay active, maintain your skills and stay connected with your teammates throughout the winter months.

Junior competitions cater for players aged U/12 through to U/16, with age groups typically separated by year level. U/13 and U/14 age groups are further divided into Divisions based on skill level. Junior competitions are held every Saturday.

Senior competitions are available on both Saturdays and Sundays. The Saturday program offers Senior competition alongside the junior grades. On Sundays, senior-only competitions are run on a fortnightly basis, featuring both 50 Over and T20 formats, giving senior players flexible options to suit their schedules.

Any junior player wishing to participate in a senior competition must be at least 12 years of age, with 14 years or older strongly recommended. Fixtures run from Saturday 2nd May through to mid-August, with semi-finals held across 15th and 22nd August, and the Grand Final on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August.
